On-site training requirements
For on-site forklift training, the customer is responsible for providing a suitable lift truck, safe training area, practical loads or pallets, appropriate workplace supervision where needed, and a suitable space for theory training and assessment. Training may be delayed, changed or cancelled if the instructor considers the site, equipment or conditions unsafe or unsuitable.
Operator suitability
Customers must provide accurate information about operator experience, previous training and any relevant needs that may affect training. Dertz will recommend the most suitable course route where possible, but successful completion depends on the operator meeting the required standard during training and assessment.
Payments, cancellations and changes
Payment terms, deposits, cancellation terms and date changes may be confirmed at the point of booking or quotation. If a course is cancelled or changed at short notice, reasonable charges may apply, especially where instructor time, travel, administration or external costs have already been committed.
Certificates and records
Where certification, registration or training records are provided, these may depend on course type, successful assessment and any requirements set by the relevant awarding, accreditation or record body. E-certificates, ID cards or replacement documents may be subject to separate charges where applicable.
Safety and conduct
